We've been working on the Co-operative Learning Centre

This summer, the BCICS is joining forces with the International Co-operative Alliance and the International Labour Organisation in a developing an collaborative online resource for the co-operative community: The Co-operative Learning Centre.

The Co-operative Learning Center (CLC) will serve the needs and interests of co-operative members, leaders and managers as well as members of the public who are interested co-operatives. It will be a valuable tool for co-operative education, training and human resource. It will provide valuable information for those wishing to carry out research on co-operative themes. It will enable users to discover the varied resources and sources of information about co-operatives and their activities; it will assist them in making appropriate contacts.

By providing these services, the Co-operative Learning Center of the International Co-operative Alliance will help develop the field of Co-operative Studies within the academy and assist today’s co-operatives to enhance their economic and social effectiveness; to respond to the needs of the members and communities they serve.
